Since 1983 company member Joe Dieffenbacher has collaborated with other artists as a performer, mask maker, designer and director. In the B!G SHOW he worked with FISM World Champions of Magic Scott & Muriel in a production featuring comic magic, stage illusions gone wrong, flying fruit, a four piece band, dancing horses, and a ladder tango, all woven into a story of love, jealousy and magic.

Los Payasos Mendigos (the beggar clowns) ran riot over much of the West Coast, Canada, Europe and the UK for 8 years. Their productions included Circo Payaso complete with water ballet, stunt babies, whip cracking, fire juggling and bull fighting and their style meshed perfectly with their adaptation of Don Quixote. Dressed in spandex rumoured to be leftovers from a Madonna tour, they entertained thousands with their irreverent style, slapstick comedy and colorful characters.

The Abbotts of Unreason were all graduates from the Ringling Clown College Class of '83. Their brand of physical comedy was a hit at festivals and clubs in the USA, combining comic characters with circus skills and slapstick.

Otherworlds was a collaboration between Joe and the Belfast-based Circus Bone Idle. This was a large production which featured acrobatics, circus skills (including a rig for aerial silk), traditional and not so traditional Irish music composed by Colin Blakey (former member of the Water Boys) and four highly skilled and very funny actors.
