In 2008 Joe began a collaboration with British pop sensations Take That, first appearing in their TV special, Take That Comes to Town. In 2009 he was cast as Balón, the high-flying ballonatic in The Circus Tour. The show toured the UK and Ireland including 4 sold out nights at Wembley Stadium. He acted as a consultant on their music video, Said It All in 2010, and rejoined the group as a featured character in TT3 for their 2015 international tour for which he also created a series of masks for the iconic, Men in Coats.

In this clip from The Circus , Joe enters inside a giant balloon, in a scene he helped develop and stage. He was then hoisted above 80,000 screaming fans in a hot air balloon. What a ride!
